Some 10 years ago Tubatalk, now known as Hooters Musical Instruments, conceived the idea of a complete musical service- not only selling musical instruments, but following this up by teaching the purchaser to play their new acquisition. This led to the founding of the Music School, which has been responsible for many people of all ages discovering the unique enjoyment that playing a musical instrument gives.
Most styles of music are taught by experienced professional musicians, who are sympathetic to students' needs- some people may just want to play a few of their favourite tunes, others may want to take music seriously and courses leading to exams in The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, Trinity Guildhall and Rockschool boards are offered.
For those who would like to share their musical experience with others, there are twice-yearly concerts in which anyone, whatever their age or standard, can discover the thrill of public performance.
